Pēgasus equus albus pulcherrimus fuit cum alīs maximīs et velōciter volāre potuit. In fābulīs antīquīs, Pēgasus hēroī bene nōtō auxilium tūlit. Nōn tamen Herculī ut in pelliculā Disneānā auxilium tūlit; immō hēroī cui nōmen fuit Bellerophon. Bellerophon mōnstrum maximum et horribile interfēcit cui nōmen fuit “Chimaera.” Chimaera mōnstrum cum duōbus capitibus, capite leōnis et capite caprī, et cum caudā quae serpēns fuit. Bellerophon, auxiliō Pēgasī, Chimaeram interfēcit. Bellerophon tamen nimis superbus fuit et auxiliō Pegasī ad Montem Olympum volāre voluit. Ad summum montem volābat et Iuppiter īrātus est et tabānum ad Pēgasum mīsit quī eum momordit et Bellerophon, ob superbiam suam, ad terram cecidit et mortuus est.
