Salve! I’m Conradus. In 2008 I read the Norton Book of Classical Literature and quit my job in order to learn Latin and Greek; in 2010 I attended my first Latin immersion event and fell in love with the active use of Latin; in 2012 I received a Master's Degree in Classics from Tufts University. Since then I have taught Latin and Greek in public and independent schools at the middle and high school levels. I was a founding member of the Boston Active Latin Meetup group and hosted it for several years; for many years I also recorded and released complete Latin audiobooks through a podcast titled Musaeolum. I have presented on topics relating to Latin pedagogy at conferences hosted by ACTFL, the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association (MAFLA), and the Classical Association of Massachusetts (CAM). I attend summer Latin immersion events regularly, and have had the great pleasure of serving as a staff member at Rusticationes hosted by SALVI as well as at the Conventiculum Bostoniense. I’m happiest when I’m reading Latin literature with friends, enjoying the natural world, and spending time with my wife Holly.
