Dr. Tyler “Imbrex” Patterson
Dr. Tyler “Imbrex” Patterson, PhD, is a specialist in Latin literature, Roman history, and the city of Rome. He holds a doctorate in classics from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he wrote a dissertation, “Monumentum,” examining representations of Rome in Latin literature from Virgil to Petrarch. He is an alumnus of numerous spoken Latin programs worldwide and can usually be found wandering the streets of Rome gesticulating wildly at Latin inscriptions with his wife and infant daughter.
