Our Mission

Latinitas animi causa means something like “Latin for fun.” Animi causa can be placed in opposition to negotii causa (for the sake of work/ business). Therefore, to do something animi causa is to do it not for the sake of business but to do it for ourselves, and so, for fun.

At LAC, our mission is to make Latin and ancient Greek accessible and enjoyable to learners of all ages and backgrounds.
